Site rebuild

I hadn’t touched this site in almost three years. Hello World went up in August 2023, and that was kind of it. One post, a domain and a quiet portfolio page.

I rebuilt it. Astro 5 + TypeScript, the whole thing. Markdown content collections with a typed schema. No React, no MDX, no Next. The visual theme is the same minimal one I started with — just refreshed with a serif heading, Geist sans body, and auto dark mode.

It’s not much. But the bar is back to open the repo, write a markdown file, push. That’s all I needed.

The site deserved an update either way. Soft goal: post more than once a year.
